You can find our office and workspace at Plot L-13 in the Verna Industrial Estate. This part of Verna is pretty quiet compared to the town, mostly just other companies and trucks moving gear around. We’ve been based here for a while, dealing with infrastructure related stuff. The building is a simple, functional structure that fits in with everything else in the estate. Inside, we have our desks and some space for our equipment and plans. It’s not the kind of place that gets a lot of random foot traffic, usually it’s just people we are already working with or deliveries coming in. We spend a lot of our time going over drawings or checking on how projects are moving along. The air out here in the industrial estate feels a bit different than the coast. We have a small team and we’ve all gotten used to the routine of the commute and the local tea stall nearby. Sometimes we have to head out to different sites, but this plot in Verna is where we always come back to. The walls are mostly bare except for some calendars and notes we’ve pinned up over the months. It’s a straightforward place where we focus on the work at hand without any fuss. We’ve grown used to the hum of the nearby factories. It’s just where we do our business every day. No big fancy meetings, just getting the work done so we can head home to our families.
