About Rajlaxmi Marble – Building & Construction Material in Goa
We’ve been running Rajlaxmi Marble for a good number of years now right here at the Bastora Crossing in Mapusa. If you know the National Highway 17 area, you’ve probably seen our yard when you’re driving past Tarikade. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks and cars going by all day, which keeps things interesting. We mostly spend our time moving slabs around and talking to folks who are building or fixing up their homes. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we’re used to it. The yard stays pretty full of different kinds of stones we’ve brought in. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we keep the inventory so people can see what they are getting. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets on everything, but that’s just how it is when you’re located right on the main road. My staff and I try to keep things organized, though with heavy marble, it’s not always easy. People from all around Mapusa stop in because we’re easy to find. We don't do much advertising; mostly it's just people seeing the sign while they're stuck in traffic at the crossing. We just focus on getting the slabs loaded and making sure the measurements are right for whoever is buying. It's a straightforward business and we like it that way.
