We are located at B 504 in the Shridhar Flora building, which is right behind the Galaxybusiness area. It’s near the Vrundavan Party Plot in Nicol, Ahmedabad. Being up on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the busy streets below. Somtisomnath Farmer Producer Company Limited is basically a group of us trying to bridge the gap between the farms and the city buyers. Most days, the elevators are busy with people coming and going from the various offices in the building. Our space is usually filled with the sound of someone typing or the fan humming in the corner. We spend a lot of time on the phone with farmers from out of town. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure everything gets where it needs to go. We aren't big on fancy decorations; we just have some chairs and a table where we can sit and talk. Nicol is a fast-growing part of the city, so there is always construction noise nearby. It keeps us on our toes. We have a lot of folders and registers to manage because being a producer company involves a lot of small details. People stop by sometimes to ask about how they can join or what we are selling. We just tell them how it is and show them the paperwork. It’s honest work and we do it right here from the 382350 area.
