The office is in the name of Sanketkumar Ashvinb, and that’s where we handle the books. Being in the Gir region means we are close to nature anyway, so the agro part of our business comes naturally. We started this because the local farmers needed a central point to coordinate their efforts. It’s a busy place during certain times of the year. There is always someone coming in to discuss their yield or to ask about new ways to manage their land. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. It’s more of a community hub than a strict business office. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the necessities to keep the company running. Most of us have our own farms to look after, so we balance our time between our fields and the office work. It’s a lot of effort, but it feels good to see the farmers in Gir Gadhada having a place that’s actually theirs. We are just regular people working together. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the wind. We take the good days with the bad and just keep moving forward with the work we have to do.
