Charaiveti Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically just us farmers here in Rapadiya. We use the space at Kamta Patidar’s house, specifically Ramprasad Patidar’s son’s place, to keep our records and meet up. It is not some big glass building, just a normal house in the village where we sit down and talk about the crops. Lately, the weather has been a bit all over the place, making the work harder. We handle things together because it makes more sense than trying to do it all alone. You can usually find a few of us there in the afternoons after the field work is done. It gets a bit dusty in the summer, but that is just part of living in Rapadiya. We try to keep things organized, even if the paperwork piles up on the old wooden table. Nobody here wears a suit. We are just wearing our regular work clothes and trying to figure out the best way to move our produce. Sometimes the tea runs out before the meeting ends, but we manage. Most people in the area know where Kamta lives, so finding us isn’t too tough if you ask around. We’ve been at this for a while now, just quietly doing what needs to get done for the farm and the families living nearby.
