Vinayak Engineers

Our workshop is at C-126 in West Rajeev Nagar. It’s a bit of a residential area mixed with some small businesses, so it feels quite local. We are mostly focused on engineering work, which involves a lot of manual labor and using machines that have seen better days but still run perfectly. The space is filled with the smell of metal and the sound of grinding every now and then. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. When you come in, you’re usually walking right into where the work is happening. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the books and handle the bills. Most of the time, we are wearing work clothes that have a few holes in them. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We have some neighbors who drop by just to chat for a minute while we are working on a piece of steel. It makes the day go by faster. We don't really have a set schedule for lunch, we just eat when we find a good stopping point. The lighting in the back could be better, but we know where everything is by now. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, which is fixing and making things for folks who need them. We’ve been at this for some time in West Rajeev Nagar.
