Vardaan Telecom

Vardaan Telecom is based right in Khoda Colony. If you have ever been to Khoda, you know how crowded and lively it is. Our shop is tucked in there, and it’s always got someone standing at the counter. We do a lot of recharges and we sell those small memory cards and earphones that everyone seems to lose. The noise from the street is constant, with motorbikes and people shouting, but we’re used to it by now. The shop is small and we have to use every bit of wall space to hang the chargers and the phone cases. It’s a lot of work keeping up with all the different phone models that come out every month. People come in with phones that have been through a lot—cracked screens, water damage, or just buttons that don't click anymore. We do our best with the tools we have on the workbench. We aren't some big corporate service center; we are just a local spot where you can get your phone topped up or fixed without having to travel too far from home. Sometimes we stay open late because someone really needs their phone working for the next morning. It’s a tough neighborhood to run a business in sometimes, but we like being here. We know the people and we know what they need for their mobiles. It’s just how we spend our days in the colony.
