Balaji Telecome

You can find Balaji Telecome over in the Chaudhary Mahasingh Market, which is part of Bel Colony in the Arthla area. It’s right near the Meeta Kuwa landmark. The market is always crowded, especially in the evenings when people are coming home from work. Our shop is small, packed with glass cases full of phones and different colored cases. We do a lot of recharges and fix screens that people have dropped. It’s a lively place because there is always music playing from one of the neighboring stalls. We have stools for people to sit on while they wait for their phones to be checked. Sometimes it takes a while, so we end up chatting about the news or the weather. There are stacks of SIM cards and chargers everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking shop, but it works for us. The floor gets a lot of mud on it when it rains because the market street isn't paved perfectly. We just keep a broom handy. Being in Arthla means we see a mix of everyone. Some customers have been coming to us since we first opened our doors. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us helping people get their gadgets working again so they can stay in touch with their relatives. It’s a humble business in a very busy corner of the city, and we like it that way.
