Universal Engineers & Traders has been operating out of E-68 on Bulandshahar Road for quite a while. This part of the Ghaziabad Industrial Area is always full of trucks and the smell of diesel. Our building is like many others around here—practical and built for work. We do a bit of engineering work and a lot of trading of parts and equipment. The shelves are filled with boxes of all sizes, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for. It’s not a shiny retail store. It’s a place where people from other factories come to get what they need to keep their own operations running. The floor is concrete and there’s always a bit of grime on the door handles. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and our afternoons dealing with deliveries. Bulandshahar Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of traffic outside our gate. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy. It's just a few of us making sure the orders are correct and the stock is replenished. If you need something specific, you usually have to yell a bit over the noise of the neighboring units. We’ve grown used to the pace of the industrial area. It’s a tough environment, but we’ve made a home for the business here and we know our neighbors well.
