Tirupati Steels

Tirupati Steels is situated at No. 85 in the Loha Mandi area, right near Lal Chowk. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and loaders moving steel beams and heavy coils all day long. The air is always thick with the smell of iron and diesel. Our shop isn't much to look at; it's mostly a large warehouse space filled with various grades of steel. We spend most of our time measuring lengths and checking weights on the scale. It's physically demanding work, and we all have calluses on our hands from handling the metal. Lal Chowk is a landmark everyone knows, so it makes it easier for the drivers to find us, though the traffic can be a real headache in the afternoons. We have a small cabin in the corner where we sit to handle the paperwork and take phone calls from customers. It's usually quite loud because of the cutting machines and the loading activity next door. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Word usually travels by mouth among the local builders and fabricators who need materials. We have been in this spot for years and the walls are covered in old calendars and grease marks. It's just a regular steel yard run by regular people who aren't afraid of a bit of hard labor.
