The Mobile Zone

You can find The Mobile Zone at Krishna Market, Lal Kuan 3, right along G.T Road. This market is always buzzing with people, and our shop is right in the middle of all that action. We deal with all kinds of mobile-related things, like new handsets, second-hand phones, and plenty of repairs. The space inside is a bit tight because we have so many boxes and parts stored away. I usually have a few tools out on the desk for fixing broken screens or swapping out old batteries. It is the kind of place where customers lean over the counter to watch what you’re doing. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a polished way of speaking. We just talk to people like they are our friends, which most of them are after coming here for years. Sometimes the market gets so crowded that it’s hard to even walk outside the door, but that’s just how Lal Kuan is. We stay open until the market starts to quiet down at night. There is always some music playing from a nearby stall and the smell of street food in the air. We spend our time getting the phones back in working order as fast as we can because we know how much people rely on them. It’s a busy, sometimes chaotic way to work, but it suits us just fine here. We are just a part of the market life and it keeps us moving.
