If you head out toward Garhmukteshwar, you’ll find us in Chandner. That’s where The Cheese Village is set up. It’s a quiet area, which is perfect for making cheese. We don’t have a big fancy factory, just our local setup where we handle the milk and turn it into something better. Cheese making is a slow process, and you can’t really rush it if you want it to turn out right. We spend a lot of our time checking on the aging blocks and making sure the temperature is just where it needs to be. It can be a bit lonely out here sometimes, but the air is fresh and we like the pace of life. People around here know us for what we do. We aren't trying to be some massive brand you see in every single supermarket. We just want to make a product that we are proud to put our name on. Sometimes a batch doesn't go quite right and we have to start over, but that’s just part of the job. Our small team knows every step of the way, from the milk coming in to the final wrapping. It is a traditional way of doing things and we don’t see any reason to change it much. It’s honest, slow work, and we are happy to be doing it here in Chandner. Most days are just about the milk and the time it takes to become cheese.
