Tandoor

We've been over here on Main Jaitpur Road for a while now. Tandoor is just a small spot at Shop No D/3 in Badarpur. Mostly, it’s about the fire and making sure the food is ready when people walk in from Saurabh Vihar. The street gets pretty busy around here, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. It can get a bit smoky inside sometimes because of the way we do things, but that is just part of it. We don't have fancy seating or anything like that. It is mostly just the staff getting things done. We spend a lot of time by the oven, watching the bread and the meat. Sometimes the orders come in all at once and it gets a little chaotic, but we manage. People stop by on their way back from the market or when they don't feel like cooking at home. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long on the sidewalk. Some days are slower than others, but we are usually here from the morning until late. There isn't much to say about the decor because there isn't much of it. We just focus on the heat and the food. If you’re around Saurabh Vihar, you’ve probably seen us near the main road. It’s just us doing what we know how to do every day without much fuss. We hope the food tastes fine.
