Swadeshi Engineers

Swadeshi Engineers is located at number 4 in Priyadarshini Indira Garden. It’s funny because the name says garden but we are right in the middle of the Rajinder Nagar Industrial Area in Mohan Nagar. It’s more about grease and metal than flowers around here. You can hear the sounds of other workshops and factories all day long. There is always a hum of machinery in the air. Mohan Nagar is a busy hub for people who build and fix things. We fit right in. Our shop isn't the biggest but we have what we need. The floor is stained with oil and there are tools everywhere but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Some days the heat in the industrial area is pretty intense but we just keep the fans running and get on with the job. We have been at this location for quite a few years now. The neighbors are other engineers and fabricators so we help each other out with parts or advice sometimes. It’s a community of makers. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come to see us you’ll likely find us in our work clothes covered in a bit of dirt. That’s just the nature of the work we do. We take things apart and put them back together. It’s simple and it’s what we know. There’s a sense of satisfaction in finishing a difficult job before the day ends.
