You can find Sunder Engineering Company over at Plot No. C-22. We are right on the Main Road in the Bulandshahar Road Industrial Area. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of trucks moving in and out all day. Being near the State Bank of India helps people find us because that’s a big landmark everyone knows. The dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are always sweeping the floor. It’s an industrial plot, so it’s mostly concrete and metal. We have been here for a good number of years. The team is just a handful of guys who know their way around engineering work. We don't have a glossy brochure or a sales team. If someone needs something made or fixed, they just pull up and talk to us. The noise from the other factories nearby is constant, but you get used to it after the first week. We spend most of our time out on the floor rather than sitting in the little office nook. It’s practical work. We eat our lunch together near the back where it’s a bit cooler. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which is just part of being in this area. We just wait it out and get back to it. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We try to keep the machines running well and get the orders out.
