Srinathji Ispat Limited

Being over here on the south side of G.T. Road in the industrial area means we are constantly surrounded by big trucks and a lot of dust. It's A-5, right where the traffic gets really heavy in the mornings. Srinathji Ispat Limited is basically a big shed full of steel pieces of all sizes. We spend most of our time tracking shipments or making sure the yard is clear enough for the next delivery truck to pull in. It's definitely not a quiet place. You can hear the roar of the main road all day long, and it becomes a sort of background noise after a while. We started out small and just kept at it, year after year. There are a few of us who have been here since the very beginning. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the loaders to finish up. The office is just a small room with a couple of old desks and a lot of paperwork piled up in corners. It's dusty because of the location, no matter how much we try to sweep it out. We don't do fancy meetings or anything. Usually, if there's a problem with a load, we just stand out in the yard and figure it out right there. The sun gets really hot on the metal in the afternoons, making the whole place feel like an oven sometimes. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the crates for a bit. It's just a regular workplace.
