Sri Krishna Watch Co

Sri Krishna Watch Co is tucked away at E-4 in Defence Colony. It’s a small shop, but it fits everything we need for our daily work. Most of the time, the place is filled with the sound of dozens of clocks ticking at once, which you stop noticing after the first hour or so of being here. We spend our time hunched over workbenches with those tiny magnifying glasses, looking at gears and springs that are barely visible to the naked eye. Defence Colony is a nice enough area, though parking can be a real headache for people stopping by the shop. We have shelves full of old watches waiting for parts and some newer ones sitting in the glass cases up front. It’s not a big corporate showroom; it’s more of a workspace where tools are scattered around and there’s always a faint smell of machine oil in the air. People come in with watches their grandfathers gave them, and we do our best to see what can be done to get them running again. It’s slow, careful work and you can’t really rush it. Some days are quieter than others, especially when the weather is bad and nobody wants to be out in E-4. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the way we fix watches hasn't changed much at all. It’s just us, the tools, and the time moving slowly while we work on these little machines.
