Golden Bell Watches

If you head down into the basement of Onyx Plaza at Plot No. 8 in Sector 3, Vasundhara, you’ll find our shop, Golden Bell Watches. It’s a bit tucked away since we are in the basement, but we’ve been here long enough that most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. We’re right near Vanasthali Public School, so we see a lot of parents and kids walking by throughout the day. Working in a basement means we don't get much natural light at all, so we keep the lamps bright so we can see the tiny parts inside the watches we work on. We spend a lot of time changing batteries, fixing broken straps, or just cleaning up old pieces that people bring in. It's usually quiet down here, which is good for focusing on small repairs. The shop isn't very large, so every shelf is packed with different styles of clocks and wristwatches. Sometimes the plaza gets a bit noisy on the weekends, but mostly it's just the sound of ticking clocks in the background while we work. We don't do anything too complicated, just basic watch stuff and helping folks pick out something that looks nice. We’ve been at this location for a while and we’ve gotten used to the layout of the building. It’s a simple setup. We open up in the morning, dust off the glass cases, and wait for the first customer to come down the stairs.
