Sri Ji Mobile Planet

We are over in Jangpura at N-29b Jangpura Extension, right near the Eros Cinema. It’s a good spot because there’s always people walking by to catch a movie or just shopping in Lajpat Nagar. Our shop is called Sri Ji Mobile Planet, and mostly we deal with phones. We see a lot of cracked screens and batteries that won't hold a charge anymore. The shop isn't huge, so we have cases and accessories hanging from almost every bit of wall space we can find. It’s a bit bright inside with the display lights, which is a big change from the street outside. We spend a lot of time looking through small magnifying glasses to fix tiny parts inside the mobiles. It can be frustrating when a part doesn't fit, but we usually figure it out. We get all kinds of people coming in, from kids who dropped their phones to older folks who aren't sure how to use an app. We just sit there at the counter and help them out one by one. It’s not a quiet job because someone is always calling or asking about the price of a new charger. We’ve been near the cinema for a while now, and we’ve seen the shops around us change, but we stay focused on the phones. It’s simple work but it’s important to people these days. We just try to keep things moving and get people back to their lives.
