Sophia Communications

Sophia Communications is over in Sahibabad at Rajpal Market 2. It’s a typical market shop, nothing too flashy. We have a small sign outside and a couple of counters inside. Most of our work involves phones—fixing them, selling them, or just helping people figure out how to use them. The market is a lively place, so there’s always someone popping in to ask a question. We don’t have a big philosophy or a fancy mission. We just open up around ten and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s mostly just us and the noise of the street. Sometimes we have to send things out if we can't fix them here, but we try to do most of it on the bench in the back. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of stock coming in. We don’t use any polished language because we’re just regular people working a job. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing. We’ve managed to stay put in Rajpal Market. We like the rhythm of the day here. The chai guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight when things get stressful. We don't need much more than a steady stream of work and a bit of space to do it.
