Sonu Awnings Concept

We are located at Ashok Nagar B-139 in Ghaziabad. Our work is mostly about keeping the sun and rain off people’s windows and balconies. We have a lot of different fabrics and metal frames around the shop. It’s a bit of a workshop feel here, with tools for cutting and sewing and bending pipes. We spend our days measuring out materials and trying to figure out the best way to fit an awning into a tight space. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a place where things are made. There are scraps of cloth on the floor and the smell of metal welding sometimes. We started this in Ashok Nagar because there are a lot of houses around that need shade. People come to B-139 to look at the different colors we have or to ask about how sturdy the frames are. We don't have a sales team, it’s just us doing the work and talking to the customers. Sometimes the sewing machine acts up and we have to spend an hour fixing it before we can finish a canopy. It’s a practical business. We go out to people's houses to install the things we make, but this shop is where all the prep happens. We’ve been here at this address for quite some time now. It’s a steady routine of cutting, stitching, and bolting things together to make sure they stay up when the wind blows hard during the monsoon season.
