Singhal Steel Works

We spend most of our time here at Kallupura 30/18. It’s a busy spot for Singhal Steel Works. There’s usually a lot of noise from the cutting machines and welding going on throughout the day. People around here know where to find us when they need something made from steel or iron. Our space isn't very fancy, just a workshop where we keep our tools and materials organized the best we can. Sometimes the floor gets covered in metal scraps, but we try to keep things moving. We’ve been at this address for a while now. The street outside can get quite crowded, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out. We just focus on the job at hand, whether it's a small repair or something bigger. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. The smell of hot metal is pretty much always in the air around here. We open up early and stay until the work is done for the day. It’s just how things are at 30/18. Most of our neighbors are doing their own thing, and we just fit into the mix. If you walk down the lane, you’ll hear the sound of hammers hitting metal and that’s usually us. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the workshop and our hands. It gets hot in the summer, but we manage. The metal stays cool until we start working it, then everything heats up fast. It's just life here.
