We are right in the middle of the main Anil Vihar Market in Khoda Colony. It is a very crowded area and there is always something happening outside the shop. Lots of people from the colony drop by if they need a quick fix for a phone, like a broken button or water damage. The workbench is always full of screwdrivers, soldering irons, and little containers for screws. We also do recharges and sell SIM cards for all the major companies. The shop isn't very big, so when we have four or five people inside, it feels very tight. We have a lot of different phone covers hanging on the walls to save space. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use a torch to finish a repair. It's a lot of fine work with your eyes and hands. We don't have a website or anything like that, people just walk in because they saw the sign. We talk to everyone who comes in, whether they are buying a five-rupee cable or getting an expensive screen replaced. The market is loud with vendors shouting and bikes honking, but we are used to it by now. We open up every morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. It’s just a local place where we try to get people's phones working again so they can get back to their day.
