Shree Krishna Steel

If you head down to Gali No-2 in Loha Mandi, you’ll find Shree Krishna Steel at Plot No-69. We are situated right near the Toll Kanta, which is basically the heart of the weighing operations in this area. You can hear the rumble of the trucks on the scales all day long from our gate. Our yard is usually filled with various steel products leaning against the walls or stacked in the center. It’s a very hands-on place to work. There’s no air conditioning or fancy chairs here; we mostly stand around the yard or sit on stools in the small office area. The daily grind involves a lot of checking weights and making sure the loaders are putting the right stuff on the right trucks. Because we’re so close to the Toll Kanta, we see a lot of people passing through, and sometimes they stop in just to say hello or ask for directions. It’s a gritty, industrial part of town, and we’ve become part of the furniture over the years. We don’t have a website or a marketing department. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years and just know where to find us. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and counting, and by the time we lock up, we're usually pretty tired. But that’s just how it goes when you’re working in the steel market.
