Shiv Scrap Enterprises

Shiv Scrap Enterprises is based out of Shop No 124 in the Prakash Industrial Estate over in Sahibabad. It’s a busy industrial area, and our shop is right in the thick of it. We deal in all kinds of scrap. People bring us things they don't need anymore, and we sort through it all. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting and sorting through piles of metal and old machinery parts. The shop isn't much to look at, just a big open space filled with bins and stacks of material. We’ve been here for several years now. The air in Sahibabad always smells like metal and exhaust, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't do any big advertising. Usually, someone just tells a friend that we’re the place to go for scrap, and they show up. We have a big scale for weighing things and that's about the most high-tech thing we own. Some days the yard is overflowing and we have to work late to get everything organized. Other days are quieter, and we spend time cleaning up the shop floor. It’s a grit-under-your-fingernails kind of job. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just buy scrap and sell it to the folks who can use it. It’s a necessary job, and we’re happy to be the ones doing it here for our local customers.
