Shati Steel

Shati Steel is located right in the middle of Chowk Bazar, inside Hira Market. If you know the area, we are just opposite Shikarpuria Sweets, which is a good landmark because everyone knows that sweet shop. We have been here for quite some time now, dealing with all sorts of steel items that people need for their construction or small repair jobs. The market gets really crowded in the afternoons, so sometimes it is hard to find a place to stand, but we manage. My family started this because there was a need for reliable supplies in this part of town. We keep a lot of stock in the back, though the front of the shop looks a bit small. It is mostly just us working here every day, making sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up. Sometimes the trucks can't get through the narrow lanes of Chowk Bazar easily, so we have to plan things out. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of metal piled up. Most of our neighbors in Hira Market have been here as long as we have. We know the people who walk by every morning. It is a busy life, but it works for us. If you are looking for us, just find the sweets shop and look across the street. We are usually there from early morning until the market closes down for the night.
