Shakti Electronics

Our shop is over in the Vasundhra area at number 34. It is a pretty simple and straightforward place to find. We have shelves lined up with all sorts of different components and old electronic gadgets. Most of our days are spent with a hot soldering iron in hand, trying to fix a television or a broken ceiling fan. The workbench is always cluttered with messy wires and various tools that I have been using for a long time. It is a bit dark inside the shop because we keep the front window covered to stop the sun from glaring on the screens we are fixing. We get a lot of people from the local neighborhood bringing in things they do not want to throw away just yet. Sometimes it is just a simple blown fuse, but other times it takes us hours to find the real problem. We have some old parts stored in the back that might come in handy for a repair one day. The air inside always smells a bit heavy, like warm plastic and burnt metal. It is just me and a couple of other guys working here. We do not have a big bright sign, just the name of the shop on the door. It gets very quiet in the mid-afternoon when most people are at their jobs. We usually take that time to catch up on the repairs that are more difficult to finish. Vasundhra is a busy place.
