San Bros Engineering Works

San Bros Engineering Works is located at Makanpur Site 4, specifically at the address 18/26. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren’t used to the industrial layout of this area. The workshop isn't very large but we have managed to fit all our essential equipment inside over the years. We mostly deal with metal and fabrication work, so you will always find scraps of iron and steel lying around on the floor. The sound of welding and grinding is the main thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a family-run kind of setup where everyone knows their job and we don’t spend much time on talk. Most of our days are spent wearing heavy gloves and protective gear while we handle the materials. Sometimes the heat from the torches makes the whole place feel like an oven, especially in June. We drink a lot of water and take our tea breaks sitting on wooden crates near the entrance. The street outside 18/26 is usually crowded with tempos and delivery trucks trying to navigate the narrow lanes of Site 4. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little corner remains pretty much the same with the same old tools and the same routine every morning. It's honest work and we don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. We just focus on the job at hand until the sun goes down and we can finally lock up and go home.
