Riya Mobile Center

The main market road in Jhandapur is never really quiet. Riya Mobile Center sits right on Gali Number 1 in Sahibabad, and the noise from the traffic is constant. I spend most of my day behind the small glass counter. It’s a tight space, but it’s where everything happens. We have various mobile accessories hanging on the walls, mostly screen guards and chargers that people need in a hurry. The floor is a bit worn down from all the foot traffic over the months. I usually have a screwdriver in my hand or I’m trying to peel off a stubborn piece of plastic from a phone screen. It’s not a corporate store with uniforms. I just wear whatever is comfortable for a long day of work. People come in with cracked screens or phones that won't charge, and I just tell them what I can do. Sometimes I can fix it while they wait, and other times it takes a day or two. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from the market road, so cleaning the display cases is a never-ending job. We just try to keep things running smoothly for the people who live around here in Sahibabad. It’s a simple life, focused on small repairs and helping neighbors stay connected through their devices. It’s been our spot for quite some time now, and we just keep at it.
