Red Chef

Red Chef is over in Sector 27, specifically in Harbans Market at shop 19. If you walk through the market, you’ll see us tucked in there among the other shops. It’s a busy little area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their errands. The kitchen isn't huge, so we have to be really organized to keep everything moving. We do a lot of chopping and prep work in the afternoon before the dinner rush starts. The smell of the spices and the oil usually fills the small space pretty quickly. We have a few people working here, mostly focusing on getting the food out fast. We don't have a big dining area, so a lot of our business is just people stopping by to pick up a meal on their way home. The walls have some simple tiles and we have a small counter where the orders are taken. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when it’s busy, but we make it work. We’ve been in this market for a while and have seen other shops come and go. We just keep doing our thing, cooking every day and making sure the place is ready for the next shift. It’s a straightforward life, no big marketing plans or anything like that. Just us in the kitchen making food for the people in the neighborhood who don't feel like cooking at home.
