Rathi Ispat Limited

Rathi Ispat Limited is located at A-2 on the South Side of the G. T. Road Industrial Area, specifically in Ispat Nagar. Being out on the G. T. Road means we are right in the thick of the heavy industry belt. It is a very different world out here compared to the city. There is a lot of dust, and the sound of heavy machinery is something you just live with. Our facility is large because we deal with steel on a big scale. The yard is usually full of trucks waiting to be loaded or unloaded. The office part of the building is practical, with tiled floors that are hard to keep clean because of all the boots coming in from the plant. We have a big clock on the wall and a whiteboard that tracks the daily production. It is a 24-hour operation, so there is always someone here, even in the middle of the night. The lights are always buzzing overhead. We don't have any art on the walls or anything like that. Just the safety signs and the schedules. We drink a lot of tea to stay alert during the long shifts. It is a tough environment, but it is what we know. We focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the steel goes out as planned. It is not a glamorous job, but it is solid work that keeps the whole place going. Everyone here knows their role, and we just get on with it.
