Rajshree Metals is located at S-103 in the Harsha Compound on Loni Road, over in the Site-Ii area of Sahibabad. It’s an industrial sort of place, which fits what we do perfectly. The compound is always full of noise—trucks idling, metal clanking, and people shouting to be heard over the machinery. Our unit is basically a large workspace with a small area for the desk and the phone. It’s dusty and can get very hot in the summer months, but that’s the nature of working with metals. We spend our time managing orders and checking the stock we have on hand. There’s always a faint smell of grease and iron in the air, which you stop noticing after a few years. We don’t have any fancy signs or a glass storefront. Most people come here because they know exactly what they need and they know we are usually in the middle of some task or another. It’s a hands-on environment. We deal with a lot of different suppliers and customers who come through the compound daily. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the back door, so we have to watch where we stack things. It isn't a clean, quiet office job, but it’s what we know and we’ve been doing it at this same spot for a long time now. We don't see any reason to change how we work as long as the orders keep coming in and the metal keeps moving out.
