Our shop is right on the G.T Road in Sector 23. The actual address is M-253 in the Sanjay Nagar neighborhood. Being so close to the main road means it is never really quiet around here. There is always a big bus or a loud truck passing by the front door. We deal with a lot of different things, mostly to do with mobile phones and getting people set up with their connections. The main counter is usually covered in papers and some old phone parts that we have not had a chance to throw away yet. I have been working here for a good while and I have watched this whole area change quite a bit. The building we are in is older and the stairs going up can be a little steep for some people. We spend a lot of our day on the computer or talking to customers about their phone bills and sim cards. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just have to sit in the dark and wait for it to come back. It is not a fancy setup by any means. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there since we opened. People from the nearby apartment blocks stop by on their way home from work to see us. We usually have a small radio playing some old film songs in the background. It gets a bit dusty because of all the road work.
