People usually come here when they've dropped their phone or the battery just won't hold a charge anymore. We sit here in Nyay Khand 2, right at number 12, and it’s mostly just us surrounded by tiny screws and those little plastic tools you need to pry open a case. It’s funny how much of life is on these screens now, so when one breaks, people look really stressed when they walk in. I spend a lot of my time cleaning out charging ports with a needle or trying to figure out why a speaker stopped working after a bit of rain. The shop isn't big, but we have enough room for the workbench and a couple of chairs if someone wants to wait. Sometimes the parts take a day or two to get here, especially for the older models that nobody uses much anymore. Indirapuram stays busy all day, so there is always noise from the street coming through the door. We just keep our heads down and work through the pile of phones on the desk. Most days go by pretty fast because there is always something to unscrew or a screen to glue down. It's not fancy work, but it's what we do here every day. I've seen every kind of crack you can imagine on a glass screen. We just try to get them back to normal so people can go about their day.
