Our shop, Pushpendra Stationary And Gift Center, is located at Shop Number -7 in Rama Market. This is over in the Bhowapur area of Kaushambi. It’s a typical local market shop. We keep a lot of things packed into a small space. You’ll find pens, notebooks, and all the usual school supplies mixed in with various gift items like clocks and photo frames. It’s usually quite busy in the mornings when kids are on their way to school and realize they forgot a pencil or a notebook. I spend a lot of my time stocking shelves and making sure we have enough of the basic stuff. We don't have a big staff, it’s mostly just me and sometimes my wife helps out in the evenings. The shop isn't fancy, just some metal racks and a wooden counter where we do the billing. Sometimes the lighting is a bit dim, but we know where everything is kept. People from around Bhowapur come here because we’ve been here for a while and they know what to expect. We don't do any big promotions or discounts. We just sell things at a fair price and try to be helpful to the neighborhood. It gets a bit chaotic during festival seasons when everyone is looking for gifts, but we manage somehow. It’s a simple life running a shop in Rama Market. We just open up every day and wait for the regulars.
