Parb Best Wishes Gift Gallery

Our gallery is on Gali Number 2, right on the main Gurudwara Road. If you find the Gurudwara on Patel Marg, you’ve basically found us. It’s a very prominent landmark, so we never have trouble explaining where we are. The shop is called Parb Best Wishes, and we try to live up to that name by keeping things friendly. The street is always busy, especially on weekends when families are out walking. We have shelves filled with cards and small trinkets. Sometimes the inventory gets a little ahead of us and we have to stack things on the floor for a bit. It’s a narrow space, but we’ve learned how to move around each other without bumping into things. I usually spend my time dusting the shelves or chatting with the regulars who stop in just to say hi. We don't do any big advertising. Most of our visitors are just people from the neighborhood or folks visiting the Gurudwara. The energy on Patel Marg is great; there is always something happening outside. Whether it’s a procession or just the daily market rush, it keeps us on our toes. We have a small stool in the back where we take our tea breaks. It's a simple life, selling things that make people smile. We’ve been on this road for a long time and hope to stay for many more. It feels like we're a real part of the community now, just doing our small bit.
