Civa Glassware

Civa Glassware is over at Site IV in the Sahibabad Industrial Area, on Dr. Burman Road. Working with glass means we have to be a bit more careful than the other businesses on this block. Our space is mostly a warehouse and a small office area where we manage everything. There are boxes stacked up high everywhere you look. It can get pretty hot in Sahibabad during the peak of summer, especially in these industrial sheds. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory to make sure nothing has cracked or broken during transit. It’s a lot of manual work, moving crates and wrapping items in protective layers. We don’t have any fancy marketing people; we just focus on keeping the stock in good shape and getting it to the customers. The office part is just a couple of desks with a lot of paperwork regarding shipping and breakage reports. We’ve been here for a while and most of the people working here live nearby. It’s a steady job, even if it’s a bit repetitive. We like the fact that we have a clear routine every day. You can hear the sound of packing tape being pulled all day long. It’s just a regular local business trying to do things right and stay busy. We don’t overcomplicate it; we just take the orders, pack the glass, and send it on its way out the door. It’s a bit dusty, but it’s what we do here.
