Preeti Mobile Shop

Down in Loni Village, specifically in the Pachayra part, you will find Preeti Mobile Shop. It’s not a big city store with glass walls and expensive rugs. It is a local spot where people from the village come when they need a quick recharge or a new SIM card for their phone. We keep a variety of colorful plastic cases hanging on the walls because everyone wants their phone to look a bit different from their neighbor's. Most of our day is spent helping people who can't get their data to work or need a screen guard put on without getting any bubbles underneath. That part takes a steady hand and some patience. The shop is a place where people stop to chat for a minute while they wait for their transaction to go through. It’s dusty outside sometimes when the wind blows, but we keep the inside as tidy as we can. We have basic phones for the older folks and smartphones for the younger ones. If a charger stops working, we usually have a replacement in a drawer somewhere. We know most of the people who walk in by their names since it's a small place. It’s a quiet life compared to the main city, but there is always something to fix or sell. We don't have a big team, just us handling the counter every day. When the electricity goes out, we just sit by the door for some light. It’s a simple setup for the village.
