Precision Tools & Components

Precision Tools & Components is over at 42/13, Site-Iv in Sahibabad. This area is full of warehouses and units just like ours. You see a lot of people in blue overalls walking around during shift changes. Our unit, 42/13, is tucked in a row of similar buildings. It is easy to miss if you are not looking for the number on the gate. Inside, we have our machines and the components we work on every day. It is not a very large space, so we have to be careful about where we put things. The lighting could be better, but we have lamps at the benches where the real work happens. Precision Tools & Components is where we spend most of our waking hours. We know the guy who runs the tea stall down the road, and he knows how we like our tea. Sahibabad gets quite dusty, especially in the dry months, so we are always wiping down the equipment. The sounds of Site-Iv are constant—clanking, engines, and people shouting over the noise. We have got into a rhythm here over the years. It is a practical place. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist. If you come in, you usually just walk right into the work area and find one of us. We are just a small group of people working with our hands at 42/13. It is mostly quiet inside except for the sound of the machines. We finish up and lock the gate.
