Vijay Machinery Store

Our store is on Patel Marg. We are right across the road from the Tata Dharm Kanta. It is a landmark that everyone knows because all the big trucks stop there to get their weight checked before they head out. Vijay Machinery Store is what we call it. We have been selling machine parts and tools here for quite a while. The shop is pretty small and it's mostly full of shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It is a bit of a mess to be honest, but we know exactly where every nut and bolt is hidden. We don't have a fancy computer system to track everything. We just remember where we put stuff. Most of our customers are locals or drivers who need something fixed right away. They don't want to hear a sales pitch. They just want the part so they can get back to their work. The dust from Patel Marg is constant. We wipe down the counters in the morning but by noon everything is covered again. It is a simple business. We open early and stay until the sun goes down. There is a small tea stall next door and that is where we hang out when things are quiet. We aren't trying to change the world. We just sell machinery parts and try to be fair with people. That is about all there is to it.
