G.S.Machinery Stores

Down near Delhi Gate, on Devi Mandir Road, you’ll find our shop. G.S.Machinery Stores has been sitting here for quite some time, right in the thick of the old city vibe. The storefront is pretty basic, just some signs and a lot of heavy machinery parts sitting out front. We don't have a lot of room for people to walk around, so you usually have to stand at the counter while we go find what you need. The walls are lined with bins full of nuts, bolts, and gears. It’s a bit of a maze back there, but we have a system that works for us. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. They know we don't do much in the way of sales pitches. We just find the part, tell them the price, and that’s that. The road outside is always busy with people going to the temple or heading towards the gate, so there's always something to look at during the slow moments. We keep a small radio in the corner playing some old songs, and there’s usually a cup of cold tea sitting on someone's desk. It’s not a high-tech operation by any means. We use paper ledgers mostly and keep track of things the old-fashioned way. It’s just how we learned to do it, and it hasn't failed us yet. People like that we are easy to find and don't change much.
