Paras Steel Centre

If you head over to Kabari Bazar, you’ll find Paras Steel Centre. This place is full of steel in all shapes and sizes. We have piles of rods, sheets, and scraps everywhere you look. It can be a bit of a maze if you don’t know where things are kept. Kabari Bazar is always loud, with trucks unloading and people bartering for prices. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise anymore. Our day involves a lot of lifting and cutting. We use big saws that throw sparks everywhere, so we have to be careful. It’s a dirty job, and by the end of the shift, everyone is covered in a layer of fine metal dust. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a sales team. If you want something, you just come in and ask. We weigh things out on the old scale and write the price on a scrap of paper. It’s very straightforward. We don’t go for anything complicated. Sometimes we get a big load of steel that takes all day to sort through. Other days are slower, and we just sit around talking about the weather or the news. It’s a local business, run by people who live nearby. We know the other shop owners on the street and we all watch out for each other. That’s just how things are in the bazar every day.
