Paramhans Watch & Mobile Point

We are tucked away in Prahalad Garhi 2, over in the Vasundhra area. It is a small shop but we pack a lot into it. Half the space is for watches and the other half is for mobile phones. My family has been doing this for a bit. You will see plenty of glass cases filled with straps, batteries, and phone screens. It can get a bit cramped when three or four customers are inside at the same time. We do not have those big bright lights like the malls do. It is just a regular neighborhood shop. I spend most of my day with a magnifying glass or a small screwdriver in my hand. People bring in watches that stopped ticking years ago or phones with cracked glass from dropping them on the pavement. We do not make promises we cannot keep. If a phone is too old to fix, we just tell the person. There is no point in wasting their time. The neighborhood of Prahalad Garhi is pretty lively, so there is always something happening outside the door. We recognize most of the faces that walk by. Sometimes people just stop in to check the time or ask for directions. We are part of the local fabric here. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. We keep the shop clean enough, though there is always a bit of clutter on the workbench from whatever project is halfway done right now.
