Online Khana

Our place is tucked away in Nyay Khand-2, over in Indira Puram. If you know Ghaziabad, you know it can get pretty packed around here. Online Khana is basically what the name says. We spend our day taking orders and getting food out the door. It’s not a big restaurant with tables and waiters; it’s more about the kitchen being ready for whenever the phone rings or the computer pings. We have a few guys on bikes who know these streets like the back of their hands, which helps because the traffic in Indira Puram is no joke. The morning starts with us checking what we have in the pantry and getting the stoves going. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just our workspace where we put the meals together. It’s a lot of packing boxes and making sure the lids are on tight so nothing spills on the way to someone's house. Sometimes we run out of something and have to run to the local market real quick. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from washing dishes to answering the phone. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and most of the regulars live just a few blocks away. It’s just a simple food business trying to keep up with the daily rush in Ghaziabad. We don't spend much time on fancy things, just making sure the rice is cooked and the orders are right before the delivery drivers head out.
