Om Jai Telecom

Om Jai Telecom is our small shop in the Modi Nagar Mobile Bazaar. Being right on the Delhi Dehradun National Highway means it’s always crowded and loud outside. We sell phones and do repairs, mostly just simple things like fixing screens or battery issues. The shop is small, so it gets a bit tight when more than three people come in at once. We’ve got glass counters filled with different models and accessories hanging on the walls. It’s nothing fancy, just a workplace. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes things harder, but we manage. People from the highway stop by if they have phone trouble while traveling. We also see the same faces from the neighborhood every day. We don't have a big team, just me and a helper. We stay open late most nights because that's when people finish their work and come to check on their repairs. The heat in the summer can be a lot, but we have a small fan that keeps us going. We’ve been here for a few years now and know most of the other shopkeepers in the bazaar. It’s a competitive spot, but we just focus on our own counter. We don't make big promises, just try to fix what's broken and sell things for a fair price. That is basically our whole day here. It's a lot of work but it keeps us going and we appreciate the regular customers.
