Om Building Material

Om Building Material is located at Shop No. 3F/378 in Vaishali. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of residential blocks and people are always renovating something. We’ve been here at this shop for a while, and it’s become a bit of a hub for local repairmen. We keep the basic things in stock, mostly the stuff that people need for small to medium construction jobs. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. You have to be careful walking around inside so you don't trip over a stack of tiles or a bag of white cement. We don't really have a sales pitch or anything. People just come in, ask what the price is for a truck of sand, and we tell them. If we can get it there today, we say so, and if not, we tell them tomorrow. Vaishali can be a bit quiet in the afternoons, so that’s usually when we catch up on the paperwork or clean up the front of the shop. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving things from the back to the front, but it keeps us fit I suppose. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure the orders are right and the materials are what they should be. It’s a decent life and we like being part of the community here and seeing the local projects finish.
