New Bikaner Pan Shop

New Bikaner Pan Shop is on the Sector 62 Main Road. It is a very busy spot because of all the big office buildings and cars zooming past all day long. We have been here for some time now. Usually, the mornings are quiet but once the office hours start, it gets hectic. We spend most of our time making sure we have enough change in the drawer because everyone seems to have big notes these days. The traffic noise is constant, you get used to the horns and the buses stopping right in front. We keep the shop clean, or as clean as you can keep a place on a main road with all that smoke and dust. There is a small bench outside where some regulars like to sit for five minutes before they catch their bus. We don't have a fancy setup or anything, just the usual wooden counters and the display of items people need quickly. Sometimes when it rains, the water splashes up from the road, so we have to pull the plastic sheets down fast. It is a lot of work staying on your feet all day, but seeing the familiar people makes it okay. Most people just grab what they want and leave, but some stay to tell us about their boss or their commute. We just keep the stall open until the last bus goes by in the evening. It is a long day but that is how it goes.
