We are located near the Bus Stand in Shekhupur Khichra, right on Bulandshahr Road and M G Road. Because we are so close to the bus stand, there is always a lot of movement around the shop. People who are traveling often stop by because they forgot their charger or their phone ran out of balance. The shop is usually dusty because of all the buses and cars driving past on the main road. We don't have fancy furniture, just some sturdy wooden counters and plastic chairs for customers. It gets quite loud with the conductors shouting and the horns honking all day long. We sell a lot of small items like earphones and battery packs to travelers who are in a hurry. Most of our work involves quick recharges or selling new SIM cards to people moving through the area. We stay open late because the buses keep running, and you never know who might need help with their connection. It’s a busy, tiring place sometimes, but we are used to the pace by now. We don’t have time for a lot of talk, as most customers want to get their stuff and catch their bus. The floor needs cleaning a few times a day because of the foot traffic, but that’s just part of being near a major transport hub. There is a small tea stall next door where we get our chai, and the smell of ginger tea often drifts in here when the wind is right. We just keep our heads down and serve whoever comes through the door.
