Metal Technocrafts

Metal Technocrafts is situated at No. 2 in the Kaushisk Compound, which is near the Old Truck Union on G. T. Road. Being near the truck union means we see a lot of heavy vehicles and moving parts all the time. Our workshop handles a lot of metal fabrication and technical work. It’s a big, open space because we need room to move around the larger pieces of iron and steel we work on. The air usually smells like grease and cold metal. We have several stations set up for different tasks like grinding, drilling, and welding. G. T. Road is always loud with traffic, and that noise blends in with the sounds of our own machines. We work with various businesses and individuals who need specific parts made or repaired. Our benches are cluttered with tools, bolts, and blueprints that have seen better days. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear nice clothes because you’re bound to get a bit of oil or dirt on you. We spend our hours making sure the welds are solid and the metal is cut to the right specifications. It’s a practical environment focused on getting the task done. We don't spend much time on the appearance of the shop; we just make sure the equipment is working so we can keep up with the daily load. It’s a busy place but we manage to stay on top of things.
