Mc. Donalds

This is the Mc. Donalds located on the third floor in the food court of the GIP Mall in Sector 38, Govindpuram. Being in a mall means it’s always loud and there are people everywhere, especially on the weekends. We are right there with all the other food stalls. Our days are spent mostly behind the counter, taking orders and making sure the kitchen keeps up with the rush. The food court is a big open space with lots of tables, and it gets really packed during lunch and dinner. We see families, teenagers, and people taking a break from shopping. It’s a fast environment. We have a team of people working different shifts to keep the place running from the time the mall opens until it closes at night. Since we are on the third floor, we get a lot of people who have walked through the whole mall and are finally ready to sit down and eat. It’s not like a quiet standalone restaurant; it’s part of the mall experience. We just follow the routine and keep the line moving as fast as we can. Working in Sector 38 means we are in a busy part of town. We don’t really have time for much else during a shift except keeping things clean and getting the food out. It’s a lot of standing and moving around in a small space, but we are used to the noise and the pace of the food court.
